Website FAQs
Placing an order.

Orders are placed through our secure website. This is completely secure, and all your payments will be managed by WORLDPAY, a major Global card processor, or PAYPAL
We never see nor store your card details, and card processing is performed automatically between WORLDPAY and your issuing bank.

1. Initially when you register you will create an account with MyVetsOnline. Thereafter when you Log In the site will know who you are. You will have to have “Cookies” enabled to use the site; most people understand about these nowadays. All Online shops need to use them, they are not sinister, and they do  not allow us- or Gordon Brown’s minions- to rifle through your secrets. A tiny bit of info is stored on your computer so that the site can keep track of who you are and what you’ve ordered. It does NOTHING else with it!

2. Find your product(s) using either the search box (on the right on the login screen) or through the categories (left), and then click on it’s picture.

3. If this looks suitable, click its 'Add to Cart' Button.

4. You can now either  change the quantities of each item in your order- and if you do this you should click on the “update order” link-, and then “Continue Shopping” or  “Proceed to Checkout”

 ALL Prescription drugs in the various categories (these are clearly marked with “Prescription Required”), and  ALL medicines in the “Prescription A- Z” require you to forward an original Veterinary prescription. A copy of a suitable one can be downloaded from the “prescription Form” tag at the top of the page.

 We will accept faxed Prescriptions – to  01776 706896  at present- , but it is possible that this may change in the future. THE ONLINE ORDER IS NOT ENOUGH, it will NOT be dispatched without a prescription signed by your Vet.

5. Your postage will now be calculated- full details on  our “Shipping” tag, as well as being able to amend your delivery address if required. You need to “select” the desired address. Press Continue.

6. You are now directed to WORLDPAY’s site. Please enter your card details then press Continue.

7. Your order details are now displayed, with a unique order number; please make a note of this.
 
I can’t find what I’m looking for.
If you are searching using the quick search box it is better to type fewer words. For example if you are looking for Royal Canin Sensitivity Control food, typing sensitivity will provide you will all matching items. If the item(s) is not there please contact us and we will endeavour to find the product for you.

What Happens Next.
You will now have received and email detailing your order. This email will have been sent to the email address you entered into your account information. If you have a query which is not answered here please Contact Us.

What you might need to know about Ordering.

You (the shopper ) have  the right to cancel within seven days of your order with us, or within seven days of receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer). If you do cancel your order, you will have your payment returned. You will have to return anything you wish credited for to us- we will send a courier, but you will have to pay for the return. The full amount of the value of the goods, less the postage, will be credited to your card.
